oh you went to rome!!! i remember giolitti, and absolutely love it!!! :)
Giolitti's fig ice cream completely destroyed my interest in Haagen-Daz, Breyers, et al... but until my next trip to Rome, I make do in NYC with Otto's gelato, which is pretty good.
