    Ode To A Powerball™

    By David Lebovitz

I think that I shall never see,
A Powerball™ as lovely as ici.

    The rosy ball ensures success
Against my dishes, which entered a mess.

Inside the dishwasher, so full it is scary,
But I just press the button! Could I be more merry?

A sudsy froth, I'm sure it will yield,
Behind the closed door, its fate has been sealed.

An unequaled tablet, whose gift is released,
Round and round goes each cycle, until all has ceased.

Without it I know that my life would be worse,
Washing dishes by hand is indeed quite a curse.

A mess is made daily by fools just like me,
So I give thanks to Calgon, for they make what you see.

wow, is there no end to your talent? *amazed*

Well done!!! Is there more where this came from?

Very fun. Lil is right, you are amazingly talented.

I laughed as soon as I saw the photo!
All hail the power ball!

It's hard to wake up after a long sleepy night/

But I know there'll be a treat waiting for me on your site./

Your descriptions of Paris and food help me cope/

And yes, that includes this ode to the soap!

You have a DISHWASHER?
so do I, his name is Andrea!

Jason: Yes, there's more stuff in my head. But you don't really want see what's really in there, do you?

Alisa: Amen, sister..!

Alli: LOVED the poem. Thanks for the (very hearty!) chuckle. Super poem.

Diva: I know some men name their, um, thingy's...but I never heard of anyone naming their dishwasher. You wacky Italians!

I wish I had a dishwasher. :(

What's a powerball?

David,

I've tagged you for the This Year I Dare meme.

Better (almost) than the Chocolate Almond Buttercrunch toffee...and that's saying something.

Does the food blogging world have a Poet Laureate yet??? If not I nominate you!

I didn't name my dishwasher, I married him!
you wacko!

Ahaha, so much fun. My dad is always having fun by imitating the woman in the ad spot by saying 'la pover bole'.

Thanx again for making me laugh.
Love
Fanny

I love the writing.
