bravo david, and totally overwhelming with delectable choices...thanks so much for this grand effort ... and to all who contributed their prize recipes.

This must be the Sugar High Friday to end all Sugar High Fridays - thank you for the great round-up, David! I'm the guest who's come when everyone's leaving, and the host is dozing on the sofa with confetti (or cocoa powder) in his hair: I got my dates mixed up and thought I actually had until Friday. But here's my entry anyway, for those with a soft spot for chocolate made just for men, and for those who haven't had enough of chocolate brands and the recipes they inspire: http://reified.typepad.com/reified/2007/01/chocolate_by_br.html.

Thanks for hosting! It's been a blast seeing what everyone chose to use and why.

No Sylee you're not the only one coming when everyone's leaving...David I thought I sent you my entry!Maybe I had your wrong e-mail address???
Here's my entry, for adults only Aromatic Bilberry Brownies:http://chezmyrtille.blogspot.com

What a fab round-up. I love the idiot cake and am going to have to give it a try. And in fitting with the cake, I missed the deadline so here is my contribution! http://www.boxcarkitchen.com/post/2007/01/24/Chocolate-chocolate-bread-pudding!

I too missed the deadline. Our contribution is an el Bulli bonbon sampler made using Callebaut chocolate.

Thanks for taking the time and effort to host.

ooomg. chocolate is my number one vice. egad, i missed this sugar high, because i was too busy admiring the contributions. definitely drool-worthy! thank you for hosting!

Thanks so much for hosting, David!

Thanks for this David! What a great round-up. I too missed the deadline, having the 26th in my head. It pays to read the fine print! Anyway, my contribution is Chocolate and Coffee Fudge...

Just caught 'Chocolate Confidential' on CBC TV & was roundly disappointed, I wanted to see more of the tour rather than that chap talking about eating chocolate, the ladies were way more interesting and involved I thought. On the whole,I found it very informative and happy that they did give you the last word at the close the program. Looking forward to booking with you when you do the whole week thing. A bientôt, j'espère? Oh & BTW you looked great, so European! So wanted one of those chi chi little shopping bags.

Thanks for hosting this event!

I was wondering which kind of chocolate you would recommend? I have acess to products from European Imports and was wondering with which chocolate would work best for Truffles.
