Upcoming L’appart Events and Paris Trip Giveaway

I’ll be heading by train to Boston (yay – no airports!), for an appearance at Milk Street cooking school with Chris Kimball. That event is sold-out but there’s an open-to-all event at Flour Bakery + Café in Cambridge on December 13th with owner/baker Joanne Chang. If you plan to come, please RSVP so they know how many people to expect.

On December 19th at 7pm, I’ll in Brooklyn at Bedford Cheese Shop, in conversation with Ella Riley-Adams of Vogue.com…along with Romain! There will be copies of L’appart to sign for last-minute holiday gifts, and I suspect there may be cheese, too. This event is free but please register here.

I’ll be riding the rails (or the glamorous bus) to Philadelphia for an event on January 12 at 7pm, at Barnes & Noble in Rittenhouse Square with my friends from Context Travel, who are offering a special Paris trip giveaway.

For the event, I’ll be in conversation with Paul Bennett, the founder of Context Travel, before the book signing. He and his wife, Lani, sailed around the world – twice, voyages that took several years (yes, I am trying to get them to adopt me…) while becoming one of the most well-respected travel and tour companies worldwide.

They’re giving away a trip to Paris, along with a signed copy of L’appart, which includes accommodations for three nights at Le Roch hotel & spa, a private half-day tour, and airfare stipend.

You don’t need to be present to enter the giveaway, but if you do if you want to meet me (and Paul), and get your book signed, come see us at the event in Philadelphia. You can enter the Paris trip giveaway here.

Also in Philadelphia, you can join me and the fine folks at Abe Fisher in Philadelphia for a Cocktail party in their restaurant. Food will be prepared by talented chef Yehuda Sichel, with desserts by Camille Cogswell (the pastry chef at Zahav), and Brian Kane is creating a special cocktail menu just for us, which will include a cocktail from L’appart. (Those of you who have read the book understand why I needed a cocktail after everything that happened…)

This is a ticketed event, and will likely sell out quickly. You can get tickets here.

I’ll be doing a talk and signing books at WHSmith on February 8, at 6pm. More info on the Facebook event page.

See you soon…or, à bientôt !
