A Good Omen?

A few weeks ago, I wasn’t sure if this was really a bad omen or what.

But with the help of Kevin, who insisted he was just having a bad day, things did indeed turn around for the better…

Hope you all have a terrific holiday, and thanks for sticking around and keeping me company.
You guys rock—much love to you all.

Bonne fête and Bonne Année
Happy Holidays and best to all for the New Year!

(I’m a little worried, though. His mood might change since he’s gonna have to stub that butt out in just a few days around here…)

Never miss a post!

The link to the article about the smoking ban included this quote:

“Smokers are more passionate,” said Véronique Moran, 51, who has smoked for 40 years, and is a regular at Le Cyrano, a café in Paris’s bustling Place de Clichy. “We’re more sensitive, we think about things and talk about things deeply, we get carried away, we rebel against things.”

No comment. But a few occurred to me. Happy holidays!

Happy Holidays, David! There will be quite a few people eating your chocolate sauerkraut cake for Christmas in Estonia :)

Happy Holiday! I am looking forward to a few days off so I can try out more Perfect Scoop recipes. Got my new ice cream maker earlier this month (had never ever made ice cream before), made one of your frozen yogurt recipes, had my mind blown. I still carry around the “OMG EAT EVERY SWEET YOU SEE BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW WHEN YOU’LL GET THEM AGAIN!!” thing from having a sugar-deprived childhood. So to suddenly see I can make really tasty ice cream…in my own house…whenever I want…‘splodes from amazed joy!

I made your chocolate cherry fruitcake with a couple changes. I soaked the cherries in kirsch and then used Grand Marnier in place of rum or whisky since that was what I had available. It was the hit of the Xmas party! Many thanks and have a great 2008!
