I already commented to Michèle on how much I loved the article. The recipes look fabulous, especially as I already have a deep-seated love for pumpkin cheesecake. With Canadian Thanksgiving already come and gone, I shall be looking for an excuse to try these out soon.

since these magazines cost a half months rent here I opt for shelter over paper so you’ll have to enlighten me. are they your favorite new dessert recipes because they are YOUR favorite new dessert recipes? :-) add that to my list of things i hate here: the price of American books and mags.

My absolute favorite cooking magazine. I have subscribed to it for years. I have years and years of back issues. Of course now that you can find the recipes on epicurious.com I don’t read them as much, but I cannot bear to get rid of them.

Yes, the recipes are mine. All developed here in my little French kitchen…for American holidays. It was quite a scavenger hunt finding all the ingredients here in Paris too; fresh cranberries, cream cheese, and pumpkin pie filling (although I often use fresh pumpkins, for a magazine, canned pumpkin is more consistent…and not a bad product at all).

    Very cool for you!
I will search the english language book stores.
So you finally found a use for the cranberries!
